Hand-printed Mezzaro, 100% cotton, can be used as a bedspread, sofa cover, and even as a table cover. A traditional motif imported from India, which has inspired subsequent creations. The ancient depiction, still preserved, is stylized yet highly decorative: the tree grows from a flowering hill and then branches out into a complex tangle of branches adorned with various types of flowers, a symbol of good luck and abundance. The design has remained so faithful to the original that similarities to Indian prints can still be identified in both the central motif and the border, represented by a succession of paisley floral motifs. Although in different styles and representations, the tree is the central theme of the Mezzaro in all its variations.

Product Features
All our Mezzari are finished with an elegant matching cotton cord or with a printed cotton border. The products are handwoven and hand-printed with predominantly natural colors. Small imperfections are a guarantee of a handmade product.
Washing
Machine wash cotton in cold water or at 30 degrees Celsius, using a mild detergent. When used as a tablecloth, for more stubborn stains, pre-treat with a mild stain remover and wash as directed above.
