The "Plantain Palm" Placemat recalls the lush charm of exotic gardens, where the large fronds of the plantain create a play of shadows and movement. On a cream ground, the broad, generous leaves are arranged in a composition with a cheerful, fresh character, ideal for bringing a vibrant, natural atmosphere to the table.
Made of 100% natural cotton, this placemat is conceived in Italy and hand-printed in India with the traditional technique of block printing. The master artisans of Rajasthan press each leaf individually onto the fabric, using hand-carved wooden blocks: a slow, meditative process that makes every piece unique and authentic.
Perfect for summer tables, terrace brunches and informal dinners, it lends a touch of tropical freshness to any setting. It pairs elegantly with the other placemats in the "Palme" collection — Mango and Dattero — to create coordinated compositions with a botanical, contemporary flavor.
