The "Date Palms" Placemat evokes the timeless elegance of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern landscapes, where date palms have symbolised hospitality and abundance for millennia. On a cream ground, slender fronds and characteristic clusters stand out in a refined design, perfect for those who love a natural, sophisticated aesthetic.
Made of 100% natural cotton, this placemat is designed in Italy and hand-printed in India using the traditional block printing technique. Every detail of the pattern is pressed individually onto the fabric using wooden blocks carved by master artisans — a slow process that demands absolute precision and gives each piece an unrepeatable character.
Ideal for everyday tables and special occasions, it adds a touch of Eastern elegance to the most diverse settings: from country houses to contemporary urban interiors. It coordinates beautifully with the "Mango Palms" and "Banana Palms" placemats to create tropical and Mediterranean-themed compositions.
